I have been logging in with my username, so that's not the issue..
I got a reply from the admin on the case:

They told me that if I didn't install a Bounced email handler they would
have to cancel my account. Part of that is banning the emails that come
back to us as undeliverable.
We've been getting thousands of bounced emails per month, and it's
causing the hosting company big problems with spam regulators.
We had over 500 members with problematic emails. Our biggest problem
was emails that no longer exist. But after that Yahoo was causing the most
bounced emails.
Sorry for the inconvenience, but it's either this or stop sending emails
all together or get shut down by our hosting provider.

I've asked him to replace it with a Gmail of mine and I'm waiting for his reply, so I'll keep you up to date.
