I got a reply from the admin on the case:
I've asked him to replace it with a Gmail of mine and I'm waiting for his reply, so I'll keep you up to date.
So, it all worked out just fine.
I logged in to my account and everything is in its place untouched referrals/balance and all.
If you have a yahoo email in your DLF account it's better to switch it to something else.
What bugged me is if there was a warning that this would happen, I remember him saying that it's better to not use a Yahoo email, but I can't recall anything about an upcoming ban to all yahoo users on DLF..
What if people don't bother contacting him for an email switch..? We would lose a lot.
Thankfully it all went fine with my account.
