I've noticed the ads "that matter" tend to show up at some specific times, so you can manage to log in once per day and get them all before they expire. But it's advisable to log in twice, since the ad expiration time is 18h, so you could lose some valuable ads in those missing 6h. It happened to me once, but now I've kinda sorted out when the ads appear.

It looks like the 1% ads arrive in the evening (EST). Whereas the site distributed ads arrive in the morning (EST)

Since $9.31 was delivered, this means that it consumed 18620 BAP.
According to my calculations some pages ago, in order to break-even in terms of BAP, you should have earned over $8.5. Since you did, I guess it was profitable

But including the 5% referral earnings it probably wasn't that much profitable so I guess we'll have to wait for the site to grow larger before it will be. So, I'll continue climbing up the levels from now on.

Btw, today without the upgrade I got just a $1 ad and 5-6 tiny ones.. so that was a much better value for my time unlike the previous upgraded days.. Cheesy

Yeah, I was thinking about where he had his filter set. He is literally earning rockstar type numbers there. Isn't it amazing how far the 'click for pennies' industry has come?

To think we thought PTCbox 10 cent ads were surreal.  Grin

Looks like there are still minds that think "out of the box" around..
..and that is actually nice because that pushes some barriers that keep this industry's evolution back! Smiley

So, does upgrading in PV enable you to earn money faster, etc?

It might, but there's no guarantee. It all depends on the sites sales. Upgrading increases the speed of earning cash, but also the BAP depletion. I also upgraded yesterday, and got $1.20 of extra 1% ads. At this rate it's interesting, since even if the net profit (counting BAP and cash) is not groundbreaking, you get a quicker cash turnover and are able to advertise more at 0 cost.

Yes, I read it in their forum that this was actually the purpose of the super upgrade..
To give us the option to "liquefy" our BAPs in a quicker way.. and it's kinda risky in case the sales don't go as expected.
But normally they should go like that.. Either way I think I'll try to increase my BAPs to the next level (5) from now on.

I've stopped buying the banners altogether. They get spent way too fast. I've decided the money is better spent in the actual ad so that I drive my BAP numbers up

That's also true, and I think that the way their banner rotation system works is a bit bad..
It seems that they are rotated after several seconds because the same banners (I've checked the image address) stay in their place for a few seconds even if you refresh the page multiple times. So, it is likely that the same member spends more than one views of your banner.

Btw, the offensive banners thing got a bit too far, almost led to a war there so something had to be done.
I suggested a solution that might not be perfect but it should at least stop the war..

I was almost ready to get on with it and create my own browser extension to block specific banners.. but thankfully I figured a simpler way to do this using adblock plus. Well, that might be a bit too much but I just can't help helping when disrespect happens..  Dont know
