Temp is about 18C today and will be above 10C for at least another month in the Vancouver area. We're usually 22C - 30C in the summer and Vancouver rarely gets below freezing in the winter (we average about three or four days of snow that sticks per year). But we do get RAIN!

The rest of Canada can be colder in the winter but they have a summer in the same range as Vancouver too. It is just shorter by about a month and gets colder quicker

Canada is on my to-go list, but only in Summer, of course.
I did live in southern Sweden for half a year, and -14șC is no stranger to me, but if I'm going for vacation, it'd better be warmer  Wink

Except if you would like to go on a ski-ing oriented vacation.. Tongue

Well, I'm not used at all on such cold conditions so far below zero..
We barely hit 0 degrees the past few years.. so I need to travel to the Alps to get to a decent ski resort.
Most of them in Greece tend to go broke due to the high temps..

However, speaking of cold, the humidity factor is also important on how cold it feels to the human body..
In some cases a simple -10oC could feel better than a 0oC with high levels of humidity which is usually the case around my place.. Smiley

Vancouver is mild. It has been said that, at certain times of the year(like early spring), you can go golfing in the morning and skiing in the afternoon and it is true
