Another motivating bonus:

Quote:
Referral/Promoter Contest

How This Contest Works:
This is a Referral contest, but it is tied to our "Top Promoter Contest"
This contest runs on the schedule of the "Top Promoter Contest"
Only the top 25 finalists in the "Top Promoter Contest" qualify for this contest
One Prize will be awarded to the members with the most referrals at the end of each contest period.
Prizes may vary from month to month, and will be added to the winner's commissions.

Current Contest:

August 16th Through August 31st, 2019

Prize: $25.00

1st Place= $15

2nd Place= $10

3rd Place= $5

It seems that this may have been run a year ago and has been on stand by ever since, as the list of the previous winners doesn't match the current ones in the top promoters list.

Either way it's a good feature to inspire more people to promote.

I told him in an email that this contest would be fairer if they embedded our referral link. Saying that if we don't get referrals, we don't make money and thus cannot afford to spend money promoting. This slows the growth of the site down

I hope he listens

His response:

Quote:
The Referrer name field is only there for administrative purposes, it does
Not determine who gets the referral. Your ID is encoded into the html
of the page when someone clicks on your link, they can't change it.

They could put Mickey Mouse in the field and it wouldn't affect anything.
It's just there because it makes my work easier when I have to check on
some things. Most people leave the field blank.

We used to use cookies, but with the new European regulations, it's just
too much of a hassle, so I turned it off.

So that is great news (except that my referring is not as good as expected and now I only have myself to blame  Smiley )

362 members in one month. That is a huge bump. Almost 10% growth in one month. Maybe the site is beginning to catch fire.  Smiley

Yay! Same here!  Smiley Money

What would be interesting now would be an option to us to disable payouts just to let the cash fill up to one big payment instead of many small ones.

This way we could avoid a bunch of transaction fees.

I would also prefer to use that cash for upgrades. That would also save fees but I assume since it is a paypal subscrption that would be a bit more awkward.

So now we are complaining that the admin insists on paying us. There is no pleasing us!  Smiley

It looks like I won the referral contest  Cool New

In case you're wondering if you can get about 1 ref per day or a little better, you can win.

A one-day ad on neobux will do it, I think

Good job!  Smiley

How much do they charge for the 1 day ad?

$70  Shocked

Yes, it is a lot but you would also win the promoter contest too so you would get $25 in bonuses back. I will probably do it when we are getting our $100 maxed out every month

Personally, I find it difficult to believe we only got 65 referrals for the month of September. Considering I stepped up my referring and got a minimum of 25 (not counting the ones who quit). That means the entire rest of the site only got 40 after having brought in almost 400 the month before?  Huh

and it may not look like I'm promoting more but a larger majority of the clicks of the 16,000 are banner clicks. Like 50 per day. These are always higher quality clicks and usually produce up to a 10% sign up rate at most sites
