I'm not sure if the so-called "experts" are bipolar or sth..
I'm tired of seeing the same websites alter between positive and negative news regarding Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies day after day..
Seriously, they can't be going like this:
Day 1 (Bitcoin price drops): "Experts say that this could be the end of Bitcoin"
Day 2 (Bitcoin price rises): "Experts claim Bitcoin price could reach $100.000"
Day 3 (Bitcoin price drops): "Experts say it's not a permanent climb.. it's probably gonna fall again.."
Day 4 (Bitcoin price rises): "Bitcoin is the future, experts recommend to get some while you still can"
Day 5 (Bitcoin price drops): "Bitcoin is gonna fall further, experts say don't touch it"
...and the story goes on and on and on...
I'm getting to think they're losing it, because they can't control it, and try to scare people with news.
Bitcoin is happening people.. just deal with it..
Most people invest via the rear view mirror. That is why you get such a double-minded news market. It works well with the stock market that usually goes up gradually so they have conditioned themselves to have an instant answer to whatever has happened on the day. Since BTC is so very volatile and still finding its way, they are having a hard time putting their conditioned news explanations to what is happening.
It goes to show the news cycle does not look at the long term for explanations. They can't because they have to fill space every day. If they just wrote "BTC has a value of $50,000" every day they would lose their readership. Unfortunately, they need to fill that space and thus they are slaves to the volatility
This is why, in investing, it is best to buy a product, have a selling price in point and only look at it periodically. You probably don't even want to read the news because you will lose your focus. The only time I really want to check the news is if we get a price spike up or down. That tells me something dramatic is happening and I might want to trade depending on the news.
You can see that the only way this makes sense is if I already have a price target in my head. The news doesn't matter because that is just happenstance that is contributing to the future price.
This all goes double for something that is a threat to the establishment banking system. They will lie, steal and cheat to win. Even bringing down government power to maintain control. The problem is that they are no longer the cheapest payment system in town. They have been replaced by a lower cost system and it is only a matter of time before business sniffs this out and starts using it. Until then just wait for all the shouting to die down and watch for that sell target
