Xoom is a partner of Paypal that allows sending money to most bank accounts around the world.
New members joining by using a friend's referral link can have a 10€/$ bonus on their first transfer of 50€/$ or above.
The process is the following: you join via referral link, log in to xoom using your Paypal credentials and choose the amount to send. You select the destination bank account (it can be yours) and then the source of funds (paypal balance, credit card, debit card....) For a 50€ transfer in europe it should cost around 1€ in fees.
After your transfer order they might request id verification, but afterwards it's quite quick. The money arrives on your bank account in the usual time SEPA transfers take.
In my case, the day afterwards I had 10€ on my paypal account, from Xoom refer-a-friend sender.

Things changed a bit with this xoom promotion (they probably had too many people refer their mom, dad, sister, dog....)
Now, in order to receive the bonus the transfer must be international. On the plus side, it's now a 25€ bonus just for a 50€ transfer
So while the family route is out, when you've got friends from other countries maybe in some online community.....
