Well, there is a way that works..  Tongue
I took a look at the code of some downline builder entries that had a banner showing up and they seem to be including the image within the description using simple HTML syntax.. so to add an image you can use the following code:

Code (HTML):
<img src="https://preview.ibb.co/mBxEh5/Forum_Logo800x125.png"/>

Just replace the banner URL with your own and insert it in the description. Smiley

Basically add some short description text, then break the line and paste this code there.
After saving it will show your own banner.

I added the FamilyClix entry just to check it out.

Normally a site should be preventing us from entering HTML code in input fields as it is really easy to hack it.
For example one could use javascript code there and alter all links showing up to point to his own ref ids.. just like that. Smiley

That's awesome! It works like a charm. Even with an animated gif!

Also, I forgot to mention, since it's you that posted that entry, by clicking the "DEL" you can remove it afterwards.

As a payback for that tip, I carried it one step further and used some of my own banners to show more detail on how they can earn from it. They will help my downline too, so they have more incentive to join.

Yep. Already figured out the DEL button when I tried posting earlier  Smiley

BTW, Dan was asking about the BoB exchangers working in there. I told him I didn't think it would work

They will work but I think it will not be a relevant place for them there.

The downline builder is for specific programs and the image should show information about the program itself..

Keep in mind that the banner itself is just to attract the attention, it's not supposed to be clickable nor contain information about other programs.

That would cause confusion, as it's not dynamic banner advertising space.

But other than that we can use it normally as a downline builder with the BoB banner that describes BoB program itself. Smiley

Is that an assumption that the BoB exchange would work in there or did you test it out? Cause some forms or programs do require that the image ends in a .jpg or .gif format.

They allow html code to be inserted which is already a big security hole, so I don't expect them to run a validation on the image extension.

I personally wouldn't try it, since it defeats the downline builder's purpose, and could even put my account at risk.

Well, here I am.. upgraded to Gold..  Smiley

It shows up in my upgrade page so the process is completed.
And I've added R4A in both Bitcoin and Income programs categories, plus YGP in PTCs.

I saw Paidverts was already added twice, so I'm not the first one to add in multiple categories, and I also added my username there.

I like the idea of preventing users from spamming the downline builder with hundreds of programs.
At least now they have to get in the trouble of creating multiple accounts to add many programs at once. Smiley

Let's see what the first month will deliver..
Oh, and oldbuddy check out your commissions.. we should make sure the system actually works.  Grin

Edited:
Funny thing is I already got a referral for R4A coming from downlinefarm within a few hours.. Shocked

If a site has more than one signup link in the downline builder, it might be wise to put your user ID in each one in case your downline chooses the wrong one

Yeap, of course.. each one is in different listing.

So, today I also got a referral for YGP from downlinefarm... Not sure how they do it but the system seems to be working!
