So.. here's my long story short..  Grin

0.01179115 ($57.95 converted to BTC from USD at the rate of 1 : 4914.70 within Payza)

0.01073753 (sent to FC through coinpayments.net)
0.00105362 (left in my Payza BTC Balance)

0.001 (fee that Payza kept)
0.00973753 (arrived at coinpayments.net for the transaction but didn't justify it)

0.00953753 (refunded from coinpayments.net-to my payza BTC balance)

0.01059115 (final Payza BTC balance)

0.0012 (lost from the whole process)

Now the funny thing is that the BTC:USD ratio dropped ~$700 today so if I convert them now to USD I'll have lost $5.89764, if I converted them at the same price I'd have lost $5.10.

Either way the fee was too high for a transaction of this small volume.. I'm not entirely sure if 0.001 is a fixed fee or variable.

The good point is that I have kept it in BTC so it may go up again.. Smiley

Fresh nice update from Payza regarding Bitcoin:

blog.payza.com

It's like they heard us talking about their fees.. lol

Well, they've lowered the bitcoin withdrawal fee from 0.001 BTC to 0.0005 BTC.
That's not exactly perfect, but it's half of what it was before so it's bearable now.

Only problem now is the fee that gets deducted from FC when they pay us through Bitcoin.

I haven't seen anything different in FC. Do you know what they use to pay us in bitcoin? Probably coinpayments, but we don't really see anything about that on our end.

Yes they use CoinPayments.net for payments to us.

I requested a new payment through Bitcoin on FC yesterday, so I'll know for sure if there are any fees as soon as I receive the BTC in my Payza Balance.

So, I received my payment from FC in Bitcoin without any fee..

I requested $40 and received the exact equivalent (at the moment of the transaction) amount in my BTC balance.

Now if I try to convert the amount to USD within Payza the conversion rate is:

1 Bitcoin = $4231.20 USD

while the live ratio is:

1 Bitcoin = $4370.78 USD

Now why do they have that kind of difference?

Payza always fed itself on exchange fees in the past. Thinks that's gonna change now with Bitcoin?  Money

Hopefully they see that lower fees = greater volume

I don't think it's exactly a matter of greediness.. Tongue

I did exchange yesterday from USD to BTC at the live value without any fee at all.. it was the exact price google reported..
So, there must be some other factor that plays a part.. maybe they don't update their price live... I wouldn't know for sure.. Dont know

I made another deposit through Bitcoin to FC yesterday and here's my experience this time..
I checked google's live BTC:USD ratio and then Payza's. They did match, so I went to FC and initiated the process to add funds.

Then even though the price hadn't fluctuated, the amount Coinbase stated, that I had to transfer to them was just a bit higher.
I'm not sure what the reason for that was, I can only guess it's something similar to the difference I noticed with Payza before..

There must be some kind of delay with payment processors when updating their rate.  Undecided
I'll take a look at their T.o.S. to see if they state something about that.

Payza must be undergoing a big update.. I got a notification today that some transactions may not show up correctly due them performing upgrades. Maybe they will announce more alt-coins soon.. Let's see.. Smiley

Edited:
Note: My R4A payment has not shown up yet on my BTC balance in Payza..

OMG, just read MM's post regarding Payza on the MTV thread and couldn't believe my eyes..

https://www.coindesk.com/us-crypto-payza-money-laundering-lawsuit/

(just posting the news to have them in this thread as well)

So, if US wins the lawsuit, this could really boost the BTC price with a huge leap..

What do you think?

I think that I should pray that I don't lose my money on Payza.

I think a "Plan B" solution would be to convert your USD balance to BTC and then send it to a private wallet.. this way no matter happens with Payza, you can always exchange or use your BTC elsewhere..

It's always wise to keep a low balance in those accounts anyway. I would rather trust it in some sites than in the processors

I already did that, of course. Let's see if they still pay in BTC or if the impact of frozen assets will lead to problems even with that.

Actually, my trust in most sites has reached an historical low after eveything seems to be blowing up in my face.

You had to pay a fee each time you transferred the funds to the bank. So it got some people thinking not to overdo it on the withdrawing aspect cause of this.
