It is fascinating. I think the algorithm somehow is able to calculate what words fall into the range of letters that you swipe as well as the amount of time your fingers hover over certain letters. I don't know if it then uses the context of the sentence you are typing also but I guess it comes up with a range in a worst case scenario and then you can choose the best word.

Even if it helps to double your typing speed that is a huge boost to your personal productivity
