The disappearance of GPR sealed the deal for me
10th Jan, 2013 at 11:12pm

For me that was the final nail in the coffin that we might have been had. Many people were wondering how the site could run with such high click rates. I was willing to give the owner the benefit of the doubt due to his reputation and long standing in the industry.

It is disappointing. I'm wondering if any of the members that were there were able to track him down.

Hi moneymarketing,
I never understood how they could pay the rates that they did either. I also hated to see GPR go too, but now thanks to solidsnake, we still have some where to carry on the conversations Smiley

Yep, I've already notified him.. and also venkat, misswahm, marinvt and turtle should be along the way..  Wink

But I had no luck tracking down wurldlink, jld and j206 yet.. There were huge amounts of positive energy in them.. If I don't find them, I hope they'll find me.. Smiley

Let me know if I'm missing someone.

I launched a ad on my site, so wurldlink will see it there. Smiley I know turtle personally, but she's not into ptc site's to much anymore since ptcbox went down.

The same story for me. Even though PTCBox was inactive for two months I had 'some' hope that everything would turn out fine. Perhaps it was naive, but I prefer to stay positive. Life is too short to spoil it with negativity.

It's true, the payrates were high, but I really think it could have worked. I think the reselling-part of the story could have been the keyfeature. Think about 1000 resellers selling 10.000 websites/scripts or whatever.

Unfortunately we will never know.
Still wondering why GPR is offline while PTCbox is still there.

I was lucky to be one of the people who made a profit at PTCBox. And I really wished it would have been active much longer. My stats tell me I've earned $ 152 in the past few months.  Huh

Anyone interested in buying ptcbox.de and/or ptcbox.be from me Cheesy

I would have made a profit......if I hadn't spent all my money on advertising  Grin

Fortunately, most of my PTCB costs came out of my other web profits and I have made the money I lost back already so it wasn't a big deal

I'd much rather lose a few hundred dollars on the front end than a few thousands dollars on the back end. I also doubt I'll be tricked again like this. There is no longer anyone I trust on the web enough to spend even a few hundred dollars. I'm not saying I can't trust anybody on the web, I'm just going to be real cautious in my spending. If my web profits can't pay for what is being sold, then I probably won't be buying into it

I profited about $100 counting advertising for referrals. I earned a total of $980.00 and cashed out $820.00.

Paid: $500.00
Advertising for referrals: about-$200.00

I didn't lose any money, but it sucked to lose 2.7k referrals I had, and the time spent.

Anyways I'm looking forward to continue the great atmosphere we had at GPR before all the issue's, and continuing to help grow a helpful community that helps each other to build there online income. Cool

For me, Paypal actually saved my money. Cheesy

I wasn't able to spend via paypal without a credit card. So, whatever I earned online via payza, I had to play within that money.

If I was able to spend via paypal, I would have invested $300 for lifetime upgrade and I would have spent good money on promotions via paypal.

Yeah, 100 referrals is not a big team as you, but it really sucked when I lost it.

I actually came out ahead with PTCBox got over 4 times what I put in and there was only about 40.00 in my account when they went belly up.  I never did get the lifetime upgrade so glad I didn't now  but needed the money I was getting from them for other things

Guess I was one of the lucky ones
