Climbing up the Alexa ranking I've decided to make a thread with achieved milestones.

Forum Launch Date : 2013-01-04

I'll be adding the dates as we'll break through the following top Alexa positions :

Top 800.000 : 2013-02-28
Top 700.000 : 2013-03-07
Top 600.000 : 2013-04-01
Top 500.000 : 2013-04-03
Top 400.000 : 2013-04-09
Top 300.000 : 2013-05-15
Top 200.000
Top 100.000

We hope to get all the way up there!

Some may say not to put too much emphasis on the alexa's ranking. And instead try to bring more members to the forum. Just saying.

Well, since some say and they're usually right ( :P )... I decided to launch this promo to help with the membership growth. :)

It's also a question of the quality of the traffic. For instance, you could promote the forum in a traffic exchange or even autosurf to increase the alexa ranking. But would it bring more members to the forum?

As for the quality, I mainly advertise on other PTC sites and use the cheapest possible ptcs with an interesting title.
This way getting paid would not be the main motive to click on it as there will be tenths of other such ads there and
the money to earn will be very low. But if the title is interesting then more click members because of that, so that targeted
traffic is my goal. I've never liked traffic exchanges anyway.. especially autosurfs..

This was a tough one.. took more than a month to reach 300.000..
I guess it will be even harder from now on.. well as the member database gets larger we'll eventually get there.  [smiley=thumbsup.gif]
